Country Greatness at the Grammys

Last night, the only part of The Grammy Awards I saw was when country legends Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, and country legend in the making, Blake Shelton, took the stage.

Together, the group sang ‘Highwayman,’ ‘Okie from Muskogee,’ and ‘Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.’

This night will go down in country music history!

It’s A… Kelly Clarkson and Husband Reveal Sex of Baby

Looks as if country singer Kelly Clarkson was right about whether she will be having a boy or girl. Today, the ‘Stronger’ singer announced her and husband, Brandon Blackstock are having a baby girl.

Clarkson revealed the exciting news on her twitter account, saying: “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!”

Congratulations, you two!

At the End of the Day

Always at the end of each day, I complete my version of a “wrap up.” Usually as I drift off to sleep, I think of what happened that day, what did I learn, and what was memorable.

As I started thinking about today’s wrap-up, the song ‘A Life That’s Good’ popped into my head. This song tells the story of someone who doesn’t need to be famous or rich, but has a great life with their loved ones.

The song is written by Ashley Monroe and has been performed on the ABC hit drama Nashville. The lyrics hold a true meaning that, I believe, has been forgotten. If you have love someone, have people who love you, then i think you have a life’s that good.
