Country Legend Sustains Minor Burns in House Fire

Country legend Loretta Lynn suffered  minor burns after a fire at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee started Tuesday morning.

The ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ singer was watching t.v. when a candle fell onto a chair in her sunroom. Authorities told WKRN in Nashville the first started around 9:30 a.m. Lynn suffered burns on her fingertips while using a pillow to extinguish the fire.

The 81-year-old’s home wasn’t heavily damaged from the fire.
