Blake Shelton Tap Dances on The Tonight Show

Want a laugh for your Friday? Then, this is the must see video.

Country superstar Blake Shelton and his fellow The Voice, judge Gwen Stefani stopped by The Tonight Show for an epic lip sync battle. The two, along with host Jimmy Fallon, faced off with a series of songs.

Shelton started the competition with his rendition of Taco’s “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” The “Austin” singer finished his version with an impressive tap dance routine.

Trust me, this is a video you don’t want to miss!

Here’s My Number, Call Me Maybe

(310) 493-7939. Dial it and singer Adam Levine just might pick up.

Ok, maybe not, because that number has since been discontinued, but on last night’s episode of The Voice, coach Blake Shelton tweeted out fellow coach (Adam) Levine’s cell phone number to his six million plus twitter followers.

The banter started with Levine calling Shelton stupid, to which the ‘Doin’ What She Likes’ singer responded: “I just found the craziest thing in my phone!!! Your PERSONAL cell phone number… hope I’m not stupid enough to tweet it out.”

A few tweets later and then….well, you know the rest. This morning on TODAY, The Voice host Carson Daly confirmed the number tweeted was, in fact, Levine’s actual cell phone number.

Any guesses on how the ‘Moves Like Jaggar’ singer will get revenge on the country crooner?

The Bros in Country Music

Since country music is starting to appeal more and more to younger generations, apparently your typical “bros” are starting to appear. You know the typical bros who talk about girls, endless summer nights, and tailgating. Recently, I read the article titled “9 Things You’re Guaranteed to Hear in a Bro-Country Song,” and the list included just that…a girl, an iced cold beer, endless summer, and tailgating, plus many more.

Parts of this article are true and in my opinion, parts are not. The article referenced country singers, such as Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, and Blake Shelton. This article is true in the fact that these singers do have songs describing the typical bro aspects, but they also have songs sing about achy breaky heartaches and portray stoic men (part 1 on where I disagree). I also disagree with the article in the sense that bro-country “ain’t leaving anytime soon.” My prediction for country music? The younger generation will become more attracted to country music, but will also become more attracted to the older country classics. Country music should be a mixture of bro-country, newer songs, and the older classics. I mean, you doesn’t love a little George Jones singing about moonshine, while still being able to hear Kip Moore sing about a truck?
