Another week has come and gone and more country music news has been made. Here are the five stories you should know about.
1. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are moving out of the Sooner State and heading to Music City. The famous country couple just purchased a mansion in Brentwood, Tennessee, out side of Nashville. Welcome, y’all!
2. Her secret’s finally out. Ladies, you can finally have legs like Carrie Underwood! Recently, the ‘Before He Cheats’ singer dished her leg workout to Glamour. See how you can get those perfectly-toned legs on: http://tasteofcountry.com/carrie-underwood-leg-workout/
3: The bad boys are back. Could there be another Outlaw in Country Music movement? Darius Rucker recently said on sports personality Dan Patrick’s radio show that the new Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings from the Outlaw movement are Luke Bryan and Eric Church. Patrick asks, “But there’s so much money in country now that can you be a bad boy and be crazy like Waylon and Willie used to be?”
“Yeah man, we’ve still got those guys,” Rucker says. “You know, Jamey Johnson, he’s a bad boy that’s for sure, and he’s doing well. You know, like you said Luke and Eric, Eric’s probably the closest we got to Waylon & Willie I think.”
Do you agree with Rucker’s comments?
4: A few country singers are throwing their cowboy hats into the ring for charity. On March 10th, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, and Nashville’s Charles Esten will attend the 6th Annual Nashville Honors Gala, benefitting the T.J. Martell Foundation for leukemia, cancer, and AIDS research.
