Take Me to Texas

Being originally from Texas, this new song from George Strait hit a nostalgic chord with me. The country legend wrote and sung the song for the History channel’s, Texas Rising. This five part mini-series is based on the Texas Revolution against Mexico and how the Texas Rangers were created.

Enjoy the new hit, “Take Me to Texas,” from the King of Country.  Sounds like a soon-to-be classic, don’t you think?

On the first day of December

How can it possibly be December? It seems like 2013 was last month and 2014 has gone by in the blink of an eye.

Let’s celebrate the beginning of the month and the Christmas season with a classic country Christmas song, George Strait’s “Christmas Cookies.”

‘Rewind’ with Rascal Flatts New Song

There is nothing better than rewinding after a long, hard day. Some people rewind with a hot bath, some with tea, and others with music.

Country trio Rascal Flatts is now relaxing at the end of the day with their new song, titled (you guessed it) ‘Rewind.’ This song is a traditional, country love song with a little hint of the King of Country music: George Strait.
