Happy Monday!

Just wanted to share with y’all a really cool (in my opinion) project I’m working on and need your help.

Country music portrayal of patriotism and American values has always interested me. Doesn’t hearing the words to Tim McGraw’s ‘If You’re Reading This’ or Dierks Bentley’s ‘Home’ pull on your heartstrings? Now, I’m getting the chance to research this topic and turn my research into a documentary. This documentary will consist of interviews and footage throughout Nashville, North Carolina, and Virginia. However, the budget for the documentary is very low and any donations to help me get to the places above is extremely appreciated!

You can donate at: http://www.gofundme.com/juu9es . No amount is too small!

Thank you for your consideration and help in making this really cool country music project a reality!

A CMA Awards Recap

Who watched the 48th annual CMA Awards last night? Once again, country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were the top winners. Host Brad Paisley “blew it” when he “accidentally revealed fellow host Carrie Underwood’s baby’s gender and it’s a….boy! Lastly, a huge congratulations to country superstar Luke Bryan on winning Entertainer of the Year!

It’s hard to choose what part of the awards show was my favorite, but I have narrowed it down to three top picks, listed below.

What was your favorite part?

1: Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood’s 2014 Opening Monologue.

2: Kasey Musgrave’s surprise duet with the Queen of Country Loretta Lynn.

3: The Band Perry’s touching tribute to country legend Glen Campbell
