Brad Paisley Returns to ‘Nashville’

Numerous country singers have made appearances on the hit show, Nashville and one country star is making a comeback.

Country singer Brad Paisley will return to the ABC drama in the Jan. 29 episode “It’s All Wrong, But It’s All Right.” He appears as himself and inducts Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) into the Grand Ole Opry.

According to Parade magazine, Paisley said “They’ve asked, but it’s a little odd, having Kim (Williams-Paisley) on there playing somebody else. I can’t watch it. It is really good, but it’s disturbing to me, too close to what I do. It’s like if I was in the CIA, I don’t know if I’d watch Homeland. But I’m not, so I do.”

This is the second cameo the ‘Southern Comfort Zone’ singer makes on the show. He first appeared in the season finale, performing alongside Deacon (Charles Esten) and Rayna (Connie Britton).

You can see Paisley’s appearance on Nashville on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 10pm est on ABC.

Faith, Family, Ducks: My Love for ‘Duck Dynasty’

If you are like me, you turn your head every time you see or hear the words “Duck Commander.” If you are like me, you turn your head every time someone says “Hey Jack” or tells you they are “happy, happy, happy.”

Within the past year, I have grown to love the popular hit A&E show ‘Duck Dynasty.’ The show centers around West Monroe, Louisiana family, the Robertsons, and their adventures owning Duck Commander, the family business. CEO Willie and his brothers, Jep and Jase, are true Southerners, who enjoy every minute of life. Along with Uncle Si, and Willie’s parents, Phil and Miss Kay, and the rest of the Robertson clan, ‘Duck Dynasty’ will have you laughing and wishing you were put of the family.

I love everything about the show, but one thing I like, that you don’t find in other television shows, is the Robertsons’ Christian-faith based lifestyle. At the end of every episode, the family is seen praying together. Sometimes you will see Phil preach a sermon or reference to the good Lord. If you ask me, this needs to happen more on television.

Whatever your reasons are for liking ‘Duck Dynasty,’ I’m sure they are my reasons too! From the down-home Southern values and faith-based lifestyle to living in the redneck moment, ‘Duck Dynasty’ is a show for all members of the family and America will continue to be invited into the Robertson home for many years to come. Now, I’m off to find me a Duck Commander t-shirt to go with my Duck Commander water bottle then I’ll be  happy, happy, happy.
